As I mentioned in a previous post on annual rose pruning— the rewards are INCREDIBLE and will showcase your efforts by putting out gorgeous roses on a more productive framework.

Take a look at the photo below, which is the “After” pruning and defoliating. You’ll notice that on the existing canes, & those that are newly trained and tied-in, laterals have been pruned to 1 or 2 buds.
