1. Russelia equisetiformis

Russelia equisetiformis. Noe Valley, SF.
Russelia equisetiformis – Firecracker Plant (Figwort Family.) USDA Zones: 9 – 11. Weeping green fine textured leaveless stems make this an excellent for spilling over a wall. Clusters of scarlet tubular flowers (look like small firecrackers) provide reliable color spring through fall. Habit: Slender, rush-like stems start out erect, then fall over into long, showy cascades. Great for training on a trellis, accenting a border, or spilling out of a tall container. Semi-evergreen. Bloom: red + long bloom time. ‘Flamingo Park’ – has paler pink flowers. Size: 4-5′ h x 4-5’w. Exposure: Sun or shade. For best blooms, provide at least 4 hours sun. Growth rate: fast. Water: Medium.
2. Trailing Rosemary

Wall trailing Rosemary. Prostrate spreading habit. Bloom: spring to summer. Flower color: Blue. Hardy to 15 degrees F. Exposure: Sun.
3. Lotus berthelotii

Lotus berthelotii trailing without flowers. (winter) Size: 1′ x indefinite spread. Exposure: Sun to part shade. USDA Zone: 10-11. Water: Moderate.

Same plant as above, but now with a profusion of scarlet colored pea-like flowers! (summer)
4. Lantana montevidensis

Lantana montevidensis – Purple Trailing Lantana. Note: Plant in frost free areas. Size: 2-3′ x 6 -8′. Bloom time: Ever-blooming. Exposure: Full sun. USDA 9-12.
5. Lantana camera ‘Radiation’

Lantana camera ‘Radiation’– Rich orange red ever-blooming flowers. Size: 3-5′ x 3-5′. Note: Plant in Frost Free Areas. Exposure: Full sun. USDA 9-12.
6. Pelargonium peltatum

Pelargonium peltatum ‘King of Balcon’ –Ivy Geranium, Rockridge, Oakland, CA. Everblooming. Semi hardy.
7. Glechoma hederacea ‘Variegata’

Glechoma hederacea ‘Variegata’‘ – Variegated trailer for a touch or plant in mass. Size: 5-6″ to indefinite spread. Plant is hardy. Exposure: Part to full shade. Bloom: spring to summer. Bloom color: light blue.
